Requirements: 

7+ years of experience into testing
Handson exp into test plan
Working experience into defect management tools
Implementation and running of the automation tests from the CI/CD pipelines
Strong Java coding experience
Experience of testing RESTful API's using POSTMAN
Experience of running tests from CI/CD pipelines
Preferred the experience into retail/ecommerce project or domain (Optional)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct manual testing across mobile, web, and API-based applications to ensure high product quality.
Analyze technical requirements and review written code to ensure alignment with project specifications.
Perform database, integration, and API testing using tools such as Postman.
Create and maintain testing documentation, including:
Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Test plans
Test cases
Test scenarios
Develop and execute detailed test cases to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability problems.
Participate in test planning meetings and collaborate with both development and QA teams to continuously improve testing processes.
Manage defect tracking using appropriate tools, ensuring all identified issues are logged and addressed effectively.
Provide feedback on test strategies and contribute to overall quality assurance planning and phased testing approaches.
Support automation efforts by executing test scripts in CI/CD pipelines, optionally using Java Rest Assured.
Perform thorough regression testing for each release to ensure a stable and bug-free software experience.
Actively engage in post-release testing and support to identify and resolve any production issues. Note: This role involves approximately 70–80% manual testing and 20–30% automation.
